To guarantee structure and organization, city guides have been available on the market for many years. However, their main limitations are impersonality, non-transparency and oversized offers. Since these guides do not collect the users’ personal preferences, it is almost impossible to find suitable and tailored locations in a short time period.
Therefore, this research and practical part is focused on finding solutions for a smart and personalized city experience using Artificial Intelligence. The human-centered research includes historical, technical and philosophical aspects of AI and relates to components of a smart city.
